Video Contest

The CCCF video contest is still underway and accepting your entries. The deadline has been extended to Friday, January 16^th. To enter, please submit a five minute video telling us why you love your public online school. Winners will receive a $500 college savings plan from CCCF and CollegeInvest. Prizes will be awarded to students in three age categories: grades K -5, 6-8 and 9-12.

Day at the Capitol

Our 2009 Day at the Capitol will be held on Tuesday, February 24^th from 8am to 2pm. All families, friends and advocates for public online schools are invited and encouraged to attend.

Activities the day of will include: speakers, capitol tours, lunch provided by CCCF, a chance to meet other online families and other exciting opportunities. Keep your eyes on the website for the posting of an agenda including speakers and more information on what to do while in the Denver area.

National Coalition for Public School Options statement on Arne Duncan

Online Learning Advisory Board

The next Online Learning Advisory Board Meeting (OLAB) has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 13^th from 10am to 12pm.  Parents, children and advocates are invited and encouraged to attend OLAB meetings. This is a great opportunity to voice your opinions and provide feedback.
